From the outset, "Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden" presented a narrative so compelling it felt tailor-made. The decisions I made deeply impacted the unfolding story, making every choice feel significant. This wasn't just another game; it was my story, unfolding in a world that responded to my actions.
The combat in "Banishers" really caught me off guard. It's not just about hitting your enemies; you need to be smart and strategic about how you fight. The game offers five difficulty levels, from story mode to much harder ones. This means you can really challenge yourself and make the journey last longer by choosing a tougher setting.
The voice acting, especially the Scottish talent behind some of the characters, added layers of authenticity and depth to the experience. Visually, the game was stunning, running smoothly and impressively on my setup. However, my journey hit a snag when it came to my ultrawide monitor setup. Despite the game's beauty, it struggled with ultrawide resolutions, a disappointing oversight for an otherwise immersive experience.
