LONDON, United Kingdom (September 3, 2024) — Exciting news for fans of sci-fi shooters: the highly anticipated co-op game POLARIS is launching its first Pre-Alpha playtest this weekend. From September 6th at 10 AM PDT to September 9th at 10 AM PDT, players will have the chance to dive into the dynamic world of POLARIS, a game developed by the Polaris Team, an offshoot of the award-winning indie developer Variable State.

To commemorate a decade of fast-paced food preparation in Cooking Fever, Nordcurrent is bringing the game's essence to life. "We wanted to do something memorable for Cooking Fever's 10th anniversary," says Nordcurrent Group CEO, Victoria Trofimova. Local Chefs Ready to Take On the Challenge
The event will take place in Vilnius, with skilled chefs from well-known local burger spots Drama Burger and Meat Busters stepping up to attempt the record. Confident in their abilities, the chefs are raring to go. Drama Burger's Karolis Čygas boasts, "Training? I was born ready. Like Caesar said: Veni, Vidi, Vici. I'm here to win." Meat Busters' Arvydas Kieras echoes the sentiment, stating, "Both in the game and in real life, you face similar emotions and challenges. I'm ready for this."
