Publisher Anshar Publishing and indie developer Aftnareld, a two-person team, have announced the release of their highly anticipated co-op action RPG, Coridden. Launching for PC on January 29, 2025, the game offers players the ability to shapeshift between human and beast forms, taking cooperative gameplay to new heights. Solo adventurers or teams of up to four players can explore a vibrant world, uncovering its secrets while evolving their human and beast skills.

Inspired by classic RPGs such as Diablo, Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and Champions of Norrath, Coridden blends nostalgic mechanics with modern action-packed combat and a unique shapeshifting system.

A New Take on Co-op Gameplay

The idea behind Coridden was born from a simple concept: one player controls a beast while another rides it, creating dynamic co-op scenarios. Over time, this evolved into a full-fledged RPG that seamlessly integrates shapeshifting, combat, and exploration.

Feanen, Community Manager at Anshar, describes the game as "a fun twist on shapeshifting," allowing players to gain new abilities by defeating beasts and transforming into them. "Coridden's combat shines with elemental combinations, effect stacking, and skirmishes against beasts and bandits," he added.

• Open-World Exploration: As one of four siblings with unique personalities, uncover the mysteries of Aasha while solving environmental puzzles, exploring wildlife-filled areas, and discovering hidden treasures.
