This limited Beta, available from April 15th at 7 PM CEST to April 22nd at 7 PM CEST, showcases about 40% of what the full game promises to offer. Those eager to explore will find a richer narrative and enhanced gameplay features tailored to elevate the society-building experience. Unlike its predecessor, Frostpunk 2 extends beyond merely surviving the harsh climates to focus more on societal dynamics and the ideological conflicts that arise within.

Beta participants will also enjoy a fresh developer commentary video that delves into the significant changes and expansions Frostpunk 2 brings over the original. The sequel not only increases in scale but introduces new factions, expansive maps, and more dramatic events that will challenge players' leadership and resourcefulness.

The complete Frostpunk 2 experience is set to launch on July 25, 2024, on PC and will be available through PC Game Pass. It will later hit consoles and be included with Xbox Game Pass. The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, Beta access, three upcoming DLCs, an exclusive early access to the story mode, a digital novella titled "Warm Flesh", and a digital artbook & soundtrack.
