Creepy Jar Announces "Green Hell" Upgrade for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on August 14, 2024
WARSAW, Poland – July 31, 2024 – Creepy Jar, a renowned game developer based in Warsaw, has officially announced the release date for their flagship title, "Green Hell," on current-generation consoles. Scheduled for launch on August 14, 2024, the game will be available on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, enhancing the gaming experience with content that was previously exclusive to PC players.
In a generous move, Creepy Jar has confirmed that this upgrade will be available as a free update for existing owners of the game on last-gen consoles. This means players who previously purchased "Green Hell" on either Xbox One or PlayStation 4 can enjoy the new features on their current-gen consoles without additional cost.
The current-gen version of "Green Hell" is priced at $24.99 USD, with a promotional 20% discount available for the first two weeks following its release. This updated version will introduce three significant updates to console players for the first time: Update #17 - Storage & Transportation, Update #18 - Fortifications, and Update #19 - Flamekeeper.
The wait is almost over!

However, it is important for players to note that the current-gen console versions of the game will not support compatibility with their last-gen counterparts. Additionally, there will be no crossplay or save transfer options between different generations of consoles. This decision has been made due to the technical limitations of last-gen consoles, which are unable to support the newer updates while maintaining the high-quality performance that Creepy Jar strives to deliver.
As Creepy Jar shifts its focus towards newer technologies and platforms, updates for last-gen consoles will cease. This strategy aligns with the company's commitment to providing the best possible gaming experience on the most capable hardware.
For more details on "Green Hell" and its upcoming features, players can visit the official Creepy Jar website or follow their social media channels for the latest updates.
