HITMAN 2024 is gearing up to offer players a blend of nostalgia and innovation, featuring the highly anticipated return of The Undying Elusive Target mission with Sean Bean. This season promises not only a revival of fan-favorite content but also introduces a slew of new challenges, Twitch Drops, returning Elusive Targets, player-curated contracts, and a pivotal game update, setting the stage for an unprecedented gameplay experience.
Elusive Target: The Undying feat. Sean Bean The saga of Mark Faba, famously portrayed by Sean Bean, continues as he returns to the World of Assassination. Known for his uncanny survival skills, Faba has eluded death more than 25 times. This season offers players, including those with the Free Starter Pack, a unique opportunity to engage with The Undying mission through The Oroborous - a three-level Arcade contract. This format introduces escalating missions with a twist: failure sends you back to the start after a 12-hour lockout. However, the original one-shot Elusive Target challenge remains exclusive to World of Assassination players.
The Undying Pack Accompanying the mission is the launch of a new cosmetic DLC pack, accessible across all platforms. This pack includes the Ephemeral Suit with Eye Patch, Kronstadt gadgets like the Mini Flash Robo XOI-2900 and IOI-1998X Surround Earphones, and the Explosive Pen (Gen 2), among other items. It also features a set of Freelancer Safehouse cosmetics inspired by the iconic Elusive Target mission.
Twitch Drop: Purple Streak Duck In a move to further engage the community, HITMAN 2024 introduces the Purple Streak Duck as a new Twitch Drop. Players can unlock this item by linking their IOI Account with Twitch and watching a cumulative total of 1 hour of HITMAN World of Assassination streams between March 22nd and March 31st.
Oocyanin Hunt & More (Starting March 29) The season continues to build momentum with the introduction of new challenges like the Oocyanin Hunt during the Berlin Egg Hunt, alongside community-inspired challenges. Players are encouraged to share their ideas for future challenges, emphasizing the game's commitment to its player base.
Forged in Fire & The Great Thief April will see the rollout of additional challenges, including Forged in Fire on Ambrose Island and The Great Thief, offering players unique objectives and rewards, further enriching the HITMAN experience.
As HITMAN 2024 delves into the Season of Undying, players are invited to a renewed world of espionage, strategy, and intrigue.
