In "Knock on the Coffin Lid," players begin their journey waking up in a cold crypt, a thousand leagues from home, with no memories of their past. Accompanied by an enigmatic stranger, players must navigate through the dark mysteries surrounding their own death. The path to recovering lost memories involves examining the secrets of the past, forming unexpected alliances, and strategically planning one's route home.
The game is set across three mysterious regions, each offering a blend of new friends and deceptive foes. Players will embark on a quest not just to return home, but to untangle a complex web of deadly intrigues that could alter their world's future. Decisions in the game carry weight, determining the political and social landscape of the Northern Gate. Players will decide the fate of races and realms, choosing whether goblins remain enslaved or rise to power over orcs, or if the elves will continue to exist.
