I recently refunded "Ripout," though I'm open to revisiting it in a few months. The game, currently in early access, shows promise with its eerie atmosphere and unique PetGun concept. However, the repetitive nature of missions and lack of variety in gameplay quickly led to boredom.
Playing solo only magnified these issues, and while the horror elements are well-executed, the excitement doesn't last. Additionally, for an early access title, "Ripout" feels pricey. I'm hopeful that the developers will enhance the game, making it worth the investment in the future.
For now, it falls short of expectations for an engaging action, horror FPS experience.
