Starship Troopers: Extermination Takes Off on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X

Offworld, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products and Knights Peak, proudly announces the launch of Starship Troopers: Extermination. Today, the game exits Early Access and makes its debut on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Epic Games Store, priced at $49.99 USD.

Starship Troopers: Extermination is a 16-player FPS loaded with explosive co-op multiplayer action. The game now boasts new features such as the formidable Tanker Bug enemy inspired by the 1997 film, a new ice planet called Boreas, and a solo play tutorial mode featuring none other than General Rico, portrayed by Casper Van Dien.

Game Highlights:

• Dynamic Co-op Gameplay: Join forces in groups of up to 16 to complete objectives, build bases, and extract resources, ensuring no ground is safe from the Arachnid enemy.
• Immersive Classes and Combat: Choose from six distinct classes—Ranger, Sniper, Demolisher, Guardian, Engineer, or Medic—and engage in frenetic squad-based combat to secure the future of the United Citizen Federation.

New Features Include:

• Console Release: Now available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
• Solo Play Tutorial Mode Featuring Casper Van Dien: The first chapter of an all-new story introducing gameplay aspects through the eyes of General Rico, with more chapters planned in future updates.
• New Planet - Boreas: Explore this once-toxic frozen wasteland, now home to evolved Arachnids following a Bug Meteor impact.
• New Enemy - The Tanker Bug: Encounter these giant armored bugs in company operations, requiring full team coordination to overcome.
• Galactic Front: Participate in missions that contribute to a community-wide campaign, impacting game storylines and rewards.
• Build Your Own Company: Like Johnny Rico's Roughnecks, players can form companies, plan operations, and work towards common objectives.
