Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes is coming soon to PC, opening up a new frontier for fans of the game.
Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes has been a hit with millions since its release in 2015. Star Wars fans and players alike can gather their favorite characters and engage in combat throughout well-known locations in this turn-based tactical role-playing game. As the game gets about to make its biggest leap yet—going from mobile to PC—the galaxy is now growing.
This is the route that Electronic Arts' developers have taken to fully utilize PC gaming. They guarantee a more visually attractive and fluid gameplay experience by scaling up the resolution, adding anti-aliasing, and doubling the frame rate to 60 fps. The game's controls and UI are completely redesigned for the PC, maximizing the usage of the mouse and keyboard while maintaining the core gameplay elements.
Long-standing enthusiasts of the game have the advantage of transferring their entire progress by syncing their mobile game account with their EA account upon their initial PC game session. This ensures a seamless transition and continuity in their gaming journey. Moreover, the development teams have committed to a synchronized release schedule for updates, ensuring that enhancements and new content for "Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes" will debut simultaneously on both mobile and PC platforms. The assurance from the teams is clear: Updates to the PC and mobile versions will be released concurrently, maintaining parity across platforms.
Exclusive beta access to the PC version will initially be granted to existing mobile gamers soon with plans to broaden this access subsequently. According to the developers, interested players are encouraged to visit the official "Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes" website, where they can sign up for the EA App, link their gaming account, and then register for beta access. A specific registration portal will be made available on the website as the registration period kicks off. Selected participants will be notified via email, receiving an exclusive invitation to join the Closed Beta phase.
