The Star Named EOS to Launch on Multiple Platforms This Summer

Developer Silver Lining Studio and publisher PLAYISM have announced exciting updates for their upcoming story-rich puzzle adventure game, The Star Named EOS. During the INDIE Live Expo, Japan's premier digital indie game showcase, a new trailer revealed more about the game's protagonist, Dei, and his quest to uncover the truth about his absent mother. The game is set to launch this summer on Steam, Epic Games Store, Humble Store, GOG, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

In The Star Named EOS, players step into the shoes of Dei, a young photographer following in the footsteps of his absent mother. The story unfolds through the recreation of photos from the past, revealing the mysteries and hidden truths of a family's fragmented memories. As Dei uncovers strange details in his mother's photographs, he embarks on a journey to discover the truth behind her disappearance.

  • Beautiful Hand-Drawn World: Explore a visually stunning world brought to life with intricate hand-drawn art.
  • Engaging Puzzles: Solve puzzles by recreating old photos to uncover long-forgotten truths about the past.
  • Fully Voiced Experience: Immerse yourself in the narrative with performances by renowned voice actors Aoi Yūki, Suzie Yeung, and Shandy Ma.
  • Dynamic Scenery: Interact with highly detailed panoramic environments and discover hidden items and puzzles.

The new trailer showcased at INDIE Live Expo also confirmed the primary voice actors for the role of Dei's mother. The Japanese performance is provided by Aoi Yūki, known for her work in Persona 5 and Genshin Impact. The English performance is by Suzie Yeung, who voiced Yuffie Kisaragi in Final Fantasy VII Remake and FFVII Rebirth. For the Chinese translation, Shandy Ma, known for voicing over 20,000 commercials and TV programs, lends her voice to Dei's mother.

A playable demo with updated voice talent is now available on Steam, giving players an early glimpse into the world of The Star Named EOS.
