Share Your Story — Fix Stories

Submit to Fix Stories

Fix Stories is for developers, gamers, creators, modders, and community voices who want to share a real story from the gaming world.

This can be about making a game, playing one, building a community, solving a problem, learning from a setback, or experiencing something meaningful through games. The story can come from a developer, player, content creator, artist, esports voice, accessibility advocate, modder, or anyone with a strong connection to gaming.

This is not a press release slot or a normal promotion page. We are looking for honest, first-person stories with a clear human angle. A good submission should explain what happened, why it mattered, and what others can learn from it.

Story ideas that fit

  • A real lesson from developing, playing, covering, or supporting a game.
  • A challenge involving design, art, audio, production, marketing, community, or accessibility.
  • A setback, mistake, or difficult choice that changed the project or experience.
  • A personal gaming moment that shaped your work, community, or perspective.
  • A behind-the-scenes story players or readers would not normally hear.

What to send

  • Your story, written in first person.
  • Recommended length: 600+ words. There is no strict maximum.
  • 1–3 images if relevant, with captions and credits if available.
  • Useful links such as your Steam page, itch.io page, website, trailer, socials, or press kit.
  • Byline details: name, role, project, studio, channel, or community.

Before sending your story

Keep it focused and personal. Try not to write a broad overview of your game or channel. Tell us what happened, what changed, what you learned, and why the story matters.

You can also browse our published stories to see the kind of personal gaming features we are building.

Rights and review

You keep full copyright to your story. By submitting, you give Fix Gaming Channel permission to publish and promote it on our site and social channels, with proper credit.

Submissions are reviewed case by case, and publication is not guaranteed. We may make light edits for spelling, clarity, and readability, but your voice should still feel like your own.
