Independent developer West Glade has unveiled the Steam page for Ammossum, a chaotic action roguelike set to release in August 2025. Built in Unity and powered by imagination, Ammossum blends high-speed roguelike action with absurd weapon upgrades and stylized visuals. Every run unlocks new projectiles and combinations, letting you fuse acid waves, explosive chains, and other destructive effects into a personalized arsenal.
At its core, the game is all about experimentation. Weapons don’t just shoot—they stack, transform, and merge. A single run can turn into a chaotic fireworks show of bullets, beams, and bizarre energy effects. Each battle feels fresh, and every reload opens the door to something unexpected.
Players control a gun-toting opossum on a moving train, holding back hordes of infected creatures in a post-apocalyptic frontier setting. The team behind Ammossum—two brothers who founded West Glade in 2022—aim to deliver a game with both style and replayability, embracing roguelite progression, humor, and total mechanical freedom.
