Dark and Deep Brings Cosmic Horror to Steam Next Fest

Dark and Deep, developed and published by Here Below in Savannah, GA, is set to immerse players in its unnerving atmosphere at Steam’s Next Fest. The game first captured attention with its debut at PAX East 2024, and now Walter Woods, the solo developer, invites everyone to experience an exclusive demo from June 10th to 17th. The full game is slated for release in August 2024.

Immerse Yourself in a Cosmic Horror Experience

Dark and Deep distinguishes itself by avoiding common horror clichés, focusing instead on creating a deeply atmospheric and surreal experience. The game’s artwork, inspired by Gustave Doré’s legendary 19th-century illustrations, adds a layer of eerie beauty, setting it apart in the horror genre.

The Intriguing World of Dark and Deep

Players step into the life of Samuel Judge, an IT worker whose obsession with the conspiracy podcast Dark and Deep spirals into a life-changing adventure. Samuel finds himself in a world filled with mysteries and terror, where he must use mystical frames to reveal hidden horrors and ancient machines to manipulate his surroundings.
