Kyle Crane returns in Techland’s next evolution of open-world survival horror

Techland has officially announced that Dying Light: The Beast will launch on September 19, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 Pro, and Xbox Series X|S. Set in the eerie and atmospheric Castor Woods, this next chapter brings back franchise hero Kyle Crane, now transformed into something more beast than man.

Players will explore a beautiful yet deadly wilderness, using parkour, brutal melee combat, and new beast-like powers to survive. The game emphasizes dynamic weather, open exploration, and a deeper horror narrative inspired by titles like The Last of Us and Alan Wake.

If you’re into horror with a claustrophobic twist, check out our review of Gore Doctor, another blood-soaked descent into survival terror.
