Hollow Knight: Silksong wins Game of the Year at the 2025 Steam Awards

Steam’s community-voted GOTY goes to Silksong

Valve has revealed the winners of the 2025 Steam Awards, and Hollow Knight: Silksong walked away with Game of the Year — plus Best Game You Suck At.

And yeah — if you want the simple “indie GOTY on Steam” angle, this is basically it. If it feels a bit weird right after our own awards, no stress: Steam Awards are a massive platform-wide community vote, while our Fix Gaming Channel Indie Game Awards 2025 winners are our own picks.
