Los Angeles, USA – August 12, 2024 — The masters of fear at DreadXP are once again preparing to send chills down our spines. The Indie Horror Showcase, held in partnership with The MIX (Media Indie Exchange), returns on October 24, 2024. The digital event will spotlight some of the most innovative, haunting, and creatively terrifying titles from independent developers around the world.
What to Expect This Year
The Indie Horror Showcase has quickly become a must-watch for horror fans and developers alike. In 2023, the broadcast drew a live audience of over 50,000 viewers, with millions more catching the trailers and highlights afterward. That showcase featured big moments like:
- The premiere of the World of Horror launch trailer
- A surprise collaboration between Monster Prom 3 and Cult of the Lamb
- The first teaser for Amanda the Adventurer 2
This year’s event aims to continue building on that momentum with even more first-look trailers, developer reveals, and exciting new announcements.
A Platform for Creators
The Indie Horror Showcase isn’t just for viewers—it’s also a powerful platform for indie developers to get their horror games seen by a massive, engaged audience. DreadXP and The MIX ensure that each selected game gets spotlighted, giving creators the kind of exposure that’s often hard to come by in the crowded digital marketplace.
