A volcanic survival game with rescue work, danger, and a clear hook
Into the Fire just ended its latest playtest, but the game should not disappear just because the window has closed.
Starward Industries has something interesting here: a volcanic survival game where the island itself feels like the enemy. Fire, ash, lava, ruined routes, strange anomalies, and rescue work all push against the player at once.
Strange fire anomalies help give Into the Fire its own dangerous identity.

What stands out is how much pressure the setting already creates. The volcano is not just background scenery. It shapes the danger, changes the mood, and makes every trip into the disaster zone feel like something could go wrong fast.
The rescue angle gives Into the Fire more weight than a normal survival run. You are not only looking for supplies or trying to make it back alive. You are moving through dangerous areas because others may not get out without help.
Into the Fire puts players inside a burning disaster zone where survival and rescue work collide.
The Fire Gives the Game Its Own Identity
The strongest part so far is the atmosphere. Burning structures, volcanic caves, glowing anomalies, smoke, heat, and unstable paths all help the game stand apart from the usual survival pitch.
This is still playtest footage, so things can change before release. But the foundation is already there. Into the Fire has danger, mood, and a clear idea behind it.
If Starward Industries keeps building on that pressure, this could be one of the survival games worth watching closely.
