A climb that should feel epic — but the demo kept breaking the illusion
Reviewed on PC.Demo First Impressions
Everest: Real Climbing Simulator has a concept that should sell itself: a tense, grounded climb where every step matters. But the demo I played turned into a string of “WTF” moments — glitches, bugs, and immersion-breaking issues that made it hard to take seriously.

My take: not a buy — even at the current Steam discount
I’m keeping this simple: I won’t buy the full game. Not even at the current 40% off discount. The demo didn’t just feel rough — it felt broken in ways that killed any sense of tension or “sim” authenticity.
What went wrong in the demo
- Glitches and bugs: enough to constantly interrupt the flow.
- Too many immersion breaks: moments where you stop thinking about climbing and start thinking about the game fighting you.
- Overall feel: more frustration than challenge.

Should you check it out anyway?
If you’re curious, the demo is worth a look purely as a “see it for yourself” situation — but I wouldn’t recommend it as a confident path toward buying the full game in its current state. Watch the video first and you’ll understand exactly why.
