Man struggles to survive in the jungle in Green Hell game

Green Hell Thrives in the Jungle of Current Gen Consoles With Exclusive Upgrades

Posted on August 15, 2024June 11, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

A Complete Survival Experience Arrives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

WARSAW, Poland – July 31, 2024 – Creepy Jar, a renowned developer based in Warsaw, has officially announced that their flagship survival title Green Hell is making its way to current-gen consoles. Launching on August 14, 2024, the updated version comes to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with enhancements and PC-exclusive content.

New Features and Exclusive Content

Console players will now experience a major content boost with the arrival of previously PC-only updates:

  • Update #17 – Storage & Transportation
  • Update #18 – Fortifications
  • Update #19 – Flamekeeper

These updates introduce complex survival mechanics, improved base-building, and new gameplay elements designed to challenge and reward players willing to test their jungle instincts.

Launch price: $24.99 USD — with a 20% discount available for the first 14 days.

Why Current-Gen Only?

Creepy Jar has confirmed that updates for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be discontinued moving forward. This decision is meant to allow the team to fully leverage the power of PS5 and Xbox Series X|S without compromise, focusing on graphical fidelity, performance stability, and expanding gameplay systems that older hardware cannot support.

Crossplay and Save Compatibility

Due to the gap in performance and technical design between console generations, the current-gen versions will not support crossplay or save transfers from previous-gen systems. This ensures optimal performance and eliminates issues caused by legacy system limitations.
