The team at DreadXP and indie developer MANGLEDmaw Games are expanding the reach of their breakout horror title, Amanda the Adventurer. After becoming a massive hit with over 1.5 billion views across YouTube, the game is now heading to PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android later this year.
The announcement comes as the game celebrates its first anniversary—a milestone driven by fan-created content, reaction videos, and a shared curiosity about Amanda’s creepy universe.
What’s the Story?
You step into the shoes of Riley Park, who’s just inherited their Aunt Kate’s house. While exploring the attic, Riley discovers old VHS tapes and a vintage TV. The tapes turn out to be episodes from a strange, low-budget cartoon starring Amanda and her sidekick Wooly the Sheep.
But this isn’t just any kids’ show. The tapes feel disturbingly real. Amanda and Wooly seem to speak directly to the viewer. Despite growing unease, Riley continues watching, determined to understand the mystery. What does Amanda really want? And why were these tapes hidden away?
