Amazon confirms further layoffs — about 16,000 corporate roles impacted

Amazon says it’s eliminating around 16,000 corporate roles as part of an ongoing restructuring, following another wave of corporate cuts in October 2025. For a recent example of our coverage format, see:

Amazon hasn’t shared a unit-by-unit breakdown (including for gaming-adjacent teams such as Twitch, Prime Gaming, or Amazon Games). In the U.S., affected employees are being given time to seek internal roles before separation, while timelines vary by country.
