An Everyday Story Brings a Touching Tale to Steam

Cactus Production has officially launched their touching new game, An Everyday Story, now available on Steam. This emotionally rich narrative invites players to explore the quiet beauty of life through the eyes of three beloved trinkets, each representing memories that shape the life of an Italian-American man.

More than a traditional indie title, An Everyday Story is an emotional journey that celebrates the beauty of small moments, the fragility of memory, and the timeless power of gratitude. Every scene feels deeply personal, encouraging reflection on how the simplest experiences define who we are.

A Journey Through Life’s Keepsakes

Developed by Cactus Production, the game tells its story through three distinct trinkets—each offering a unique lens into the protagonist’s life. These everyday objects hold both emotional and symbolic meaning, embodying strength, resilience, and nostalgia in equal measure.

“We poured our heart into this project over the last few years and hope you’ll cherish the Everyday Stories as much as we do,” shared Roberto Vergine and Alessio Oliva of Cactus Production. Their passion is palpable, turning this small-scale project into a moving piece of interactive art.

Gameplay Features

  • Tin Soldier: A loyal and courageous companion equipped with a handmade parachute. The Tin Soldier can jump, grapple, and shoot, conquering obstacles with determination and heart.
  • Bat Origami: Light, fragile, and fast, this paper creature glides gracefully through tight spaces and high places, teaching the player the beauty of precision and patience.
  • Wooden Ship: The steadfast explorer that uses its anchor to clear paths and move the world around it, embodying the strength and endurance found in everyday persistence.
