A Relaxed Collectible Card Shop Sim Arrives on PC Early Access
Sports Card Shop Simulator is now available on PC through Steam Early Access, bringing sports cards, shop management, pack opening, grading, auctions, and customer service together in one collectible-focused business sim.
Developed by Spanish indie studio OverPowered Team and published on Steam by Ultimate Games S.A. and PlayWay S.A., the game launches just as soccer fever begins building again. It focuses first on soccer cards, with more sports planned during development.

Sports Card Shop Simulator
Release: June 4, 2026 – Steam Early Access
Genre: Simulation, Management, Sports, Indie
Developer / Publisher: OverPowered Team / Ultimate Games S.A., PlayWay S.A.
Platforms: PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S planned for later
The core loop is built around running and expanding a sports card shop. Players stock the store, serve customers, open packs, trade cards, grade valuable finds, and slowly turn a small local shop into a bigger collectible business.
At launch, the Early Access version focuses mainly on soccer, with more than 4,000 card variants from over 50 national teams. Packs can include base cards, chrome variants, numbered cards, and special autographed editions, giving the game that familiar “just one more pack” collectible hook.
Opening packs is a big part of the loop, with soccer cards, rarity values, and collectible variants driving the shop economy.
There is also a card creator, letting players design custom cards that can become part of the in-game collection. On top of that, card grading uses details like corners, edges, and surface condition, while the market shifts over time with dynamic prices and auction-style competition for valuable cards.
The management side covers shop layout, upgrades, decoration, staff hiring, and expansion. Players can also take part in sports minigames to earn extra cards, adding a break from the counter while still feeding back into the collection loop.
OverPowered Team says the Early Access period is expected to last at least one year. Future updates are planned to expand the game beyond its soccer foundation, with additional sports and new mechanics expected over the coming months.
A Timely Launch for Collectors and Sim Fans
The timing makes sense. Soccer is about to dominate a lot of screens again, and Sports Card Shop Simulator taps into the collecting side of that excitement without needing official teams or real-world branding. It is more about the ritual: opening packs, chasing rare pulls, spotting value, and building a shop around that obsession.
For players who enjoy relaxed business sims, card collecting, and the slow satisfaction of upgrading a small store into something bigger, this looks like one to keep an eye on during Early Access.
