Bears, Bees, and Honey: Bottled by Bears Is Today’s Indie Gem

Posted on July 12, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Indie Gem of the Day: Bottled by Bears

I asked on X for a game to feature today, and this small, cozy honey-farm game immediately caught my attention.

Bottled by Bears is a cozy idle-management game from monoii studio where you join the Pawford bear family and help them run a little honey farm.

The idea is simple, but bears, bees, honey, and a colorful hand-drawn world are already a strong combination. This looks like the kind of relaxing game you can check in on, make a little progress, and watch your farm steadily grow.

A Honey Farm Run by Bears

You can open bee packs to discover new and rarer bees, manage your hives and bottling lines, produce jars of honey, attract customers, and take on larger orders as the farm’s reputation grows.

The farm can also be expanded and decorated, while its flower fields continue blooming even when you are away. It looks like a comfortable mix of collecting, management, automation, and steady idle progression.

Build up the Pawford family’s honey farm, collect bees, manage production, and fill orders.

The gameplay screenshot also shows plenty of small details, from the large flower field and beehives to the bears working around the farm and selling the finished honey. Everything has a warm, friendly look that suits the cozy management style.

Why It Earned the Indie Gem Spot

Not every game needs to be enormous or complicated to stand out. Sometimes a clear idea, a charming presentation, and bears making honey are more than enough.

After asking on X for something worth featuring, Bottled by Bears felt like exactly the kind of smaller indie game this spot should be used for. It caught my attention, made me smile, and looks worth keeping an eye on.

A free demo is available now on Steam, while the full game is currently planned for Q4 2026.

For being small, cozy, and immediately easy to like, Bottled by Bears is our Indie Gem of the Day.
