Two elite soldiers stand back-to-back in a red sci-fi city key art for Anima Flux, a co-op metroidvania set in space.

Anima Flux a New Co Op Metroidvania Experience Coming Q4 2024

Posted on September 17, 2024November 17, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Get ready for a new sci-fi adventure with Anima Flux.
This game is made for players who like to explore, fight monsters, and play together.
You will travel through a dark space city and try to save the last humans.

In Anima Flux, you control two special soldiers.
They are strong, fast, and created by a strict space government.
Your job is to fight swarms of mutants and protect the last safe city on a giant space ark.

The game is planned to release in the last quarter of 2024.
If you enjoy sci-fi, teamwork, and exploring strange places, this one should be on your list.

About Anima Flux

Anima Flux is a co-op Metroidvania game set in a dark, dystopian space world.
Humanity is almost gone, and the last survivors live in one city inside a huge space ark.
Mutants attack from all sides, and only you and your partner can stop them.

Story

The space ark’s only human city is under heavy attack from mutants.
A powerful, strict government sends its best agents—two elite soldiers—to fight back.
Each soldier has unique skills that work better when you play together.

There is one big twist: thanks to special implants, your soul (anima) can move to a new body.
This means death is not the end, but every choice still matters.
You will explore dark halls, strange labs, and dangerous zones while trying to uncover the truth.
