New Enemies

The Illuminate’s offensive has escalated with the introduction of new and powerful adversaries:

  • Stingray: Aerial jetfighters that execute devastating strafing runs, providing high-speed support from above.
  • Crescent Overseer: Advanced artillery units that can bypass cover and target Helldivers with barrages.
  • Fleshmob: A grotesque combination of Voteless parts, this brute serves as a devastating battlefield force.

Reports also mention larger, more formidable ships, though their capabilities remain unclear.

Weapon Customization and Progression

Helldivers can now fully customize their primary weapons, thanks to a new progression system:

  • Weapon Leveling: Players can level up their primary weapons by completing missions, unlocking new attachments and upgrades.
  • Attachments: Enhance weapon performance with sights, magazines, muzzles, and under-barrel attachments for improved handling and effectiveness.
  • Cosmetic Patterns: Unlock visual patterns and designs to personalize weapons further.

This expanded customization system allows players to tweak their gear for both performance and aesthetics, making every weapon feel uniquely tailored to the player’s combat style.

Expanded Superstore

The Superstore has undergone a major overhaul:

  • Permanent Inventory: Items that were previously rotated are now always available, allowing Helldivers to access all gear at any time.
  • Upcoming Warbond: The “Masters of Ceremony” Warbond will be released on May 15, adding new patterns and items for even more customization.

Patch 01.003.000 Highlights

This update also includes:

  • Weapon Balancing: Adjustments to spread, drag, sway, and stamina costs for melee weapons to enhance combat dynamics.
  • Bug Fixes: Various crash and weapon-related fixes to improve overall gameplay stability.
