Serenity Forge to Bring “To the Moon” to Consoles with a New Beach Episode

Posted on August 31, 2024January 27, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

A beloved narrative adventure finds new life on Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5

Serenity Forge is thrilled to announce their plans to bring the beloved
narrative-driven game To the Moon, originally developed by
Freebird Games, to modern consoles. This heartfelt adventure, previously
available only on PC, will soon make its way to Xbox Series X|S
and PlayStation 5.

The Beach Episode – A Farewell to the Sigmund Stories

The announcement aligns with the reveal of The Beach Episode,
set to launch on September 20 for PC. This new installment promises to be a
series finale of sorts for To the Moon and its sequels,
Finding Paradise and Impostor Factory.

The Sigcorp crew, familiar to fans of the series, will take a break from their
usual cerebral escapades for an all-expenses-paid vacation at the whimsical
Golden Lobster Resort. However, even amidst mini-games and
relaxation, not everything is as it seems, hinting at mysteries that unfold
even in this seemingly peaceful setting.

A Heartfelt Story Reaches New Audiences

Console players will soon be able to experience the unique journey of
Dr. Rosalene and Dr. Watts, who offer patients
the chance to relive their lives and fulfill their last wishes through memory
manipulation. This poignant service is reserved for those on their deathbeds,
making their new memories the final ones before their passing.

With its move to consoles, To the Moon is poised to touch a new
generation of players who may have missed its original release on PC.

Exclusive Collectible – The Memory Globe

In addition to the game news, Serenity Forge revealed that fans of the series
could soon own a piece of its magic with the Memory Globe.
This collectible will be available for pre-order next week at $74.99,
perfect for those who have cherished the journey of To the Moon and
its narrative depth.

Language Support and Availability

The Beach Episode will launch with support for
English and Chinese, with plans to expand
language options toward the end of the year. This will help the finale reach
even more fans around the world.
