Version 1.0 adds new weapons, hardcore difficulty, and endgame content
Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault officially left Early Access on September 2, 2026, launching Version 1.0 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Developer Digital Sun and publisher 11 bit studios completed Will’s latest adventure after months of Early Access updates and community feedback. The game is also available through Game Pass.

What Version 1.0 Adds
The update completes Will’s story in Tresna and adds four Endless Weapon Aspects, Endless Armour, a Machine Gun gadget, and the new Bomb Path perk system.
Players can upgrade the shop to Level 5, enter Endless Vault VII, and try Hardcore Difficulty, where defeat means losing all carried relics. New vendors, cosmetics, quests, Codex pages, and cutscenes complete the update.
Very Positive on Steam
As of September 3, Moonlighter 2 holds a Very Positive English-language Steam rating, with around 86% of roughly 1,260 reviews recommending the game.
The standard US price is $29.99, with a 30% launch discount reducing it to $20.99 through September 16.
