Visually Stunning, but Flawed
Unholy plunges players into a horror story spread across two distinct realms: the bleak reality of a post-Soviet Eastern European town and a nightmarish world ruled by a harsh priest caste. As you search for clues about your child’s disappearance, the game mixes stealth, exploration, and direct confrontation.

Highlights
The strongest part of the experience was its visual presentation. The two-world structure gave the game a striking identity, and the environments carried much of the horror atmosphere.

Challenges
Where the game struggled for me was execution. Character development and some of the gameplay mechanics did not always match the strength of the visual design, leaving parts of the experience feeling less polished than the presentation suggested.

Final Thoughts
While Unholy boasts impressive graphics and interesting ideas, it struggled with execution in key areas. At the time of this review, I felt it was a game worth watching for patches and updates rather than an automatic recommendation at full price.
