Vampires: Bloodlord Rising Character Creator Update Now Available

Posted on July 7, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Vampires: Bloodlord Rising Adds Highly Requested Character Creator

Players can now create their own creature of the night, with detailed vampire customization added to the Early Access build.

Vampires: Bloodlord Rising has added one of its most requested Early Access features: a full character creator.

Since the start of Early Access, players have asked for more freedom over who they play as, instead of being locked to Dragos, the story’s preset vampire lead. Now, Mehuman Games and publisher Toplitz Productions are giving players the chance to shape their own vampire in the dark open world of Sangavia.

A vampire made your way

The new character creator includes templates, base settings, male and female character options, and more than 30 sliders for detailed customization. Players can also create two separate looks: one for aristocrat mode, where they move among mortals, and another for hunter mode, where the vampire becomes a predator stalking prey in the night.

It is not only cosmetic either. The creator also includes activity and background perks that can boost certain character values while adding slight disadvantages elsewhere, giving the feature a gameplay layer as well as a visual one.

A natural Early Access update

For an open-world vampire game built around freedom, hunting, castle building, and player choice, this feels like a smart Early Access step. If players are building a castle, commanding servants, and ruling from the shadows, they should probably be able to decide what kind of monster is sitting on the throne.

Vampires: Bloodlord Rising is currently available in Early Access on PC through Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store.

Extra: Our Ultrawide Gameplay Look

We also covered the game earlier with ultrawide PC gameplay, back when it was still being shown under its previous Vampire Dynasty name. If you want a broader look at the world, atmosphere, and gameplay style, you can watch that below.

Ultrawide PC gameplay captured by Fix Gaming Channel, from before the game fully moved under the Vampires: Bloodlord Rising name.
