At Fix Gaming Channel, we don’t just chase the biggest releases — we look for the ones that surprise us. The ones with a unique look, an idea that sticks, or a style that deserves more attention than it’s getting.

This list highlights five recent 2.5D games that bring something bold and creative to the table. Four of them are already out and playable, while one is a promising title still on the way — but all are worth your time in 2025.

Into the Dead: Our Darkest Days

Released April 9, 2025 (Steam Early Access)

Set in 1980s Texas, this zombie survival game puts you in charge of a group of survivors navigating a gritty outbreak. Manage stress, exhaustion, and hunger while scavenging gear and fighting to stay alive. Every run is a risk, and death is permanent. It’s brutal — and brilliant.

Why we like it: Smart survival loop, stylish 2.5D environments, and that constant push-your-luck tension.

Mandragora: Whispers of the Witch Tree

Released April 17, 2025

A dark pixel art action RPG that lets you pick from six classes and dive into a twisted fantasy world filled with monsters and magic. With detailed combat, deep skill trees, and gorgeous animation, this one’s built for fans of Dead Cells and Castlevania-style challenges.

Why we like it: Beautiful pixel work, dark atmosphere, and a layered upgrade system that rewards smart play.

Neon Blood

Released November 26, 2024

A detective-driven cyberpunk game set in 2053. You play as Axel McCoin, an implant-enhanced cop tracking a deep conspiracy in a neon-soaked city. With a mix of visual novel storytelling and light turn-based combat, it stands out more for its worldbuilding than its mechanics — and that’s okay.

Why we like it: The Blade Runner vibe is strong, and the visual style feels alive. One for fans of story-heavy pixel games.

Bionic Bay

Released April 17, 2025

A moody physics-based platformer that reminds us of Limbo — but with way more interactivity. Dark visuals, challenging jumps, and clever puzzles make this a hidden gem that rewards patience and precision.

Why we like it: Great level design and a physics system that actually makes you think about every move.

Coming 2025 (Not yet released)

A cinematic action platformer soaked in cyberpunk vibes and jaw-dropping pixel art. You play as an AI trapped in a human body exploring a corrupt dystopia. The combat looks responsive and intense, and the world is full of style. Still unreleased — but it’s one to keep an eye on.

Why we like it: It’s not out yet, but it’s already one of the most visually striking 2.5D projects on the horizon.
