Posted on October 5, 2024June 27, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

YEREVAN, Armenia – The wait is over for fans of real-time strategy and siege defense. Door 407 has officially released Diplomacy is Not an Option version 1.0, marking the end of its early access phase and the beginning of a full-scale RTS experience. With a rich story campaign, massive enemy waves, and intense survival mechanics, this indie gem now stands complete.

What Makes Version 1.0 Worth It?

  • Full Story Campaign: Over 100 hours of gameplay across 25+ handcrafted missions
  • Survival Horde Battles: Face 25,000+ enemies in massive siege events
  • Multiple Factions: Diverse enemy types and tactical encounters
  • Magic & Engineering: Mix traditional strategy with powerful spells and siege tools
  • Very Positive Steam Reviews: Built on a strong community since early access

New Features and Twitch Integration

With the 1.0 update, streamers can now integrate their Twitch channel directly into the game. Viewers can trigger raids, manipulate resources, or unleash absurd events like giant crab invasions. This interactive component adds unpredictable chaos, perfectly fitting the game’s hectic tone.

What’s Coming Next?

Door 407 isn’t stopping at 1.0. They’re already working on:

  • A full map editor for community-created levels
  • New sandbox modes and survival challenges
  • Undead faction planned as a future playable race
  • Further performance optimization and content patches
