Hell Let Loose Game of the Week 67 featuring a World War II battlefield

Hell Let Loose Makes Teamwork the Real Weapon — Game of the Week #67

Posted on August 17, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Large-scale World War II combat where communication can be more important than your kill count

Hell Let Loose is Fix Gaming Channel’s Game of the Week #67, bringing 50v50 World War II battles together with infantry, armor, artillery, resources, and squad-based communication.

This week’s selection comes after Fix Gaming Channel writer Jake Boyette spent around five matches with Hell Let Loose. He came away impressed by the scale of its battles and how much the experience depends on players actually working together.

Jake did encounter some audio issues while playing on console, but they did not stop him from having a great time with the game.

You can find more selections in our Game of the Week archive.

50 vs. 50

Hell Let Loose is built around 50v50 multiplayer battles with 14 playable roles spread across infantry, command, recon, and armor units. Tanks, artillery, supply lines, capture sectors, and a resource system all feed into the larger battle.

Running off alone and chasing kills will only get you so far. Officers, commanders, and individual squads need to communicate, defend positions, move supplies, and decide where the team should attack next.

Five matches were enough to see the appeal

This is not a review, and five matches are nowhere near enough to judge everything Hell Let Loose has to offer. They were enough, however, for its biggest strength to become clear: teamwork changes everything.

When a squad communicates and players understand their roles, the huge battlefield starts to make sense. When communication breaks down, the same battle can quickly turn into chaos.

Why Hell Let Loose is Game of the Week #67

Hell Let Loose earns Game of the Week #67 because its large battles are about much more than shooting. Communication, positioning, teamwork, armor, artillery, and command decisions all contribute to what happens on the battlefield.

Jake has only scratched the surface, but after his first handful of matches, he already wants to keep playing. That is more than enough to earn this week’s spot.
