Stilt a Look at the Vibrant Vr Platformer From Rekt Games

Posted on January 26, 2025May 2, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Released on March 8, 2024, Stilt by Rekt Games and published by VRKiwi brings a colorful and chaotic twist to the VR platforming genre. With its springy movement mechanics and cheerful visual style, the game stands out as a uniquely joyful VR experience.

Meet the Hero: A Fluffy Ball on Stilts

In Stilt, players control a charming furball who gets around using oversized bouncy stilts. These spring-loaded legs aren’t just for movement—they’re the key to leaping over hazards, dodging enemies, and navigating vertically challenging environments.
The game spans 20 levels filled with vibrant landscapes, puzzles, enemies, and platforming action. Along the way, you’ll collect stolen gift packages and eventually confront a thieving giant octopus that has hijacked your spaceship.

A Platformer That Feels Fresh in VR

The use of spring-stilts as the central movement mechanic gives the game a unique rhythm and pace. This isn’t just a visual gimmick—it affects your whole approach to solving problems and dealing with obstacles.

Competitive and Cooperative Multiplayer Modes

Beyond the solo adventure, Stilt features engaging multiplayer modes across PCVR, Quest, and PSVR2. Each mode brings a different flavor of chaos:

Multiplayer Mode Highlights

  • Smack-em-all! – Knock opponents into the sea using your stilts.
  • Area Bash – Compete for control of a moving zone.
  • Electric Tag – A high-speed game of tag with an electrifying twist.
  • Balloon Hunt – Race to pop balloons before your rivals.

These modes offer a blend of competition and hilarity, ideal for both casual groups and seasoned VR fans.

Power-Up System Adds Depth

Stilt’s upgrade mechanics let you improve your stilts, giving players more control and new abilities. These enhancements are vital for both traversing tougher single-player levels and gaining an edge in multiplayer showdowns.

Why Upgrades Matter

Players must decide when and how to use power-ups to their advantage, adding a strategic layer to the fun. Want to leap higher or strike harder? The choice is yours.
