Explore Generational Bonds in Tell Me Your Story Available on Steam and Switch

Posted on April 27, 2024May 2, 2026 By Ronny Fiksdahl

A heartfelt puzzle adventure blending memory, travel, and family

RedDeer.Games, the renowned Polish studio, has released their cozy new puzzle game, Tell Me Your Story, today. Available on both Steam and Nintendo Switch, players can explore the touching memories between a granddaughter and her adventurous grandmother in this heartfelt, dialogue-free puzzle experience.

Game Overview

In Tell Me Your Story, players step into the shoes of Amelia, a young woman helping her Grandma Rose settle into a new home. But this is no ordinary unpacking adventure. Among the dusty boxes and old photographs, Amelia uncovers relics of Rose’s past life as a globetrotter, each one unlocking a memory that reshapes their bond and reveals long-kept secrets.

Gameplay Mechanics

Through beautifully hand-drawn puzzles, players travel from the lush Amazon rainforest to the serene hills of Yunnan, and even through the luxurious carriages of the Orient Express. Each setting is a playable story fragment where players reconstruct Rose’s adventures and uncover emotional milestones.

Puzzle-Based Storytelling

Each memory is represented as an interactive puzzle that reveals more of Grandma Rose’s life, teaching Amelia and the player about courage, love, and self-discovery along the way.

Artistic and Design Highlights

The game boasts a minimalist art style that feels like flipping through a storybook. With intuitive touch controls on the Switch and point-and-click support on PC, it’s built for accessibility. Despite the lack of spoken dialogue, the storytelling is emotionally rich, conveyed through music, color, and animation.
