Game Overview
Players begin as leaders of a band of refugees fleeing a devastated homeland. After arriving in an uncharted region, the goal is to build from scratch by constructing settlements, managing colonist needs, gathering resources, and surviving a world shaped by day-and-night cycles and changing seasons.
Early Access and Community Involvement
The 2024 plan was to launch in Early Access and use player feedback to shape development. Additional building pieces, systems, and gameplay improvements were expected to arrive as development continued.
Release and Accessibility
The game is slated for an upcoming release, with no specific date announced yet. It will be available on platforms like Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, catering to a wide audience of strategy and RPG enthusiasts.
Final Thoughts
The combination of building, management, dungeon exploration, and combat made Dungeons & Kingdoms one of the more interesting medieval strategy projects on our radar in July 2024.
