Playground Games shows Bowerstone, combat, choices, and life in Albion
Fable launches February 23, 2027, and new Gamescom gameplay gives players a closer look at Playground Games’ reimagined Albion.
The latest footage focuses on Bowerstone, combat, property ownership, relationships, and the reputation system. This is a new beginning for the series rather than a remake of the original games.

Bowerstone, Property and Relationships
Players can explore Bowerstone, enter buildings, buy property, earn money, and build relationships with Albion’s residents.
The reputation system also changes how different people react to the Hero. Choices can affect friendships, romance, marriage, and how characters see you.
Combat Mixes Strength, Skill and Will
Combat lets players move between melee weapons, ranged attacks, and magic. Different weapons, abilities, and spells can be combined into custom loadouts.
PS5, Xbox and Game Pass
Fable launches February 23, 2027 for Xbox Series X|S, PC, Steam, and PlayStation 5. It will also be available through Game Pass on day one.
Premium Edition owners can begin playing up to five days early on February 18.
