A haunting descent into madness arrives on consoles this May

Console players enter the nightmare—this institute doesn’t forgive

Gore Doctor, the grotesque and atmospheric psychological horror game from Polish indie developer Salient Games, is expanding its reach. Following a successful PC release in 2024 with a 93% positive Steam rating, the game makes its console debut on Xbox Series X|S starting May 13, 2025, and on PlayStation 5 from May 27. Published by Ultimate Games S.A., this unsettling title promises a brutal mix of psychological dread, survival gameplay, and twisted storytelling.

The game’s premise drops players into the decaying halls of a forsaken medical institute, haunted by grotesque horrors and buried secrets. The institution was once run by a doctor who, in a desperate effort to save his dying wife, abandoned every ethical boundary.
