Gore Doctor, the grotesque and atmospheric psychological horror game from Polish indie developer Salient Games, is expanding its reach. Following a successful PC release in 2024 with a 93% positive Steam rating, the game makes its console debut on Xbox Series X|S starting May 13, 2025, and on PlayStation 5 from May 27. Published by Ultimate Games S.A., this unsettling title promises a brutal mix of psychological dread, survival gameplay, and twisted storytelling.

A Descent into Madness

The game’s premise drops players into the decaying halls of a forsaken medical institute, haunted by grotesque horrors and buried secrets. The institution was once run by a doctor who, in a desperate effort to save his dying wife, abandoned every ethical boundary. His experiments gave rise to malformed creatures born of pain, grief, and obsession.
