A Rite From the Stars Remastered Edition Now Available on Multiple Platforms

Posted on January 31, 2025October 7, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

Artax Games has officially released A Rite From the Stars: Remastered Edition, bringing its atmospheric 3D point-and-click adventure to a wider audience. Now available on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5, this updated edition rekindles the touching story of Kirm, a mute boy on a spiritual journey to fulfill his destiny.

A Mute Boy, a Cosmic Calling, and a World of Challenges

Set on the mystical island of Kaikala, the game follows Kirm as he attempts to complete his tribe’s rite of passage. Divided into three spiritual paths—Wisdom, Courage, and Spirit—the adventure blends environmental puzzles, dynamic interactions, and an enchanting story.

With the aid of a celestial star named Hoku and his loyal meerkat companion, Mirk, players must guide Kirm through 28 handcrafted levels. Each path challenges different aspects of the player’s logic, reflexes, and creativity.

Gameplay That Charms and Surprises

Whether you’re conducting a rock band made of singing boulders, playing dodgeball against a mischievous monkey, or outwitting ancient temple traps, the remastered edition expands on the original with even more quirky content and polished visuals. Expect over 15 hours of gameplay and six different endings, making replayability one of its strongest suits.

A Tribute to Artistic Storytelling

Behind this title is Artax Games, a Spanish indie studio known for supporting and publishing meaningful, character-driven games. Founded in 2016, the studio continues to uplift local talent and unique titles with heartfelt stories and artistic merit.
