ININ, Tozai Games, and Irem are unleashing another blast of arcade brilliance with Irem Collection Volume 3, set to release digitally on July 1, 2025. This time, the focus shifts to high-fantasy mayhem, with three shoot ’em up gems that redefine what side-scrolling chaos can look like. You’ll pilot quirky helicopters, soar on broomsticks, and ride dragons into battle—pure arcade madness at its finest.

Whether you’re a retro enthusiast or a newcomer discovering Irem’s magic for the first time, Volume 3 delivers a triple threat of creativity, charm, and pure bullet-blasting challenge. Available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5/4, and Xbox (Xbox store page not yet live).

Three Fantasy-Infused Arcade Legends

Mr. Heli / Battle Chopper (1987)

Don’t be fooled by the cutesy look — Mr. Heli is a multidirectional shooter packed with puzzle-like stages, hidden secrets, and big boss battles. Mine crystals, earn cash, upgrade your firepower, and stomp through one of Irem’s most charming and challenging shooters.

Mystic Riders (1992)

Fly through magical realms on a broomstick while battling flaming demons, sky turtles, and twisted creatures from folklore. You can deflect projectiles with your broom and roll through danger in this colorful, cooperative fantasy shooter full of arcade flair.

Dragon Breed (1989)

Ride the powerful dragon Bahamoot and torch your enemies in a post-apocalyptic fantasy world. Use the dragon’s body to shield yourself and obliterate anything in your path. Think R-Type with wings, fire, and biomechanical horror — a hidden masterpiece for hardcore fans.
