Astrobotanica Keeps Growing Roadmap Details Released

Germination for this botany-centric survival gem is in full swing! Warsaw-based game studio Space Goblin has unveiled its ambitious development roadmap for ASTROBOTANICA, a unique survival game set in Earth’s lush Pleistocene past. Following its official reveal in August 2024, the title continues to spark curiosity thanks to its blend of plant science, exploration, and primal lifeforms.

Closed Alpha Access

Kickstarter backers will get exclusive access to an early build of ASTROBOTANICA, showcasing the game’s core survival mechanics, alien botany systems, and prehistoric open world. Supporters will be able to provide hands-on feedback and help shape the direction of development alongside the team.

Public Demo (Autumn 2025)

A public demo is scheduled for Autumn 2025, offering a broader glimpse into the alien protagonist’s mission on ancient Earth. Players will step into the role of Xel, an extraterrestrial botanist exploring an uncharted wilderness filled with primitive wildlife and human tribes.

ASTROBOTANICA promises a rare mix of scientific curiosity and survival instinct. Here’s a look at some of the standout features:

Grow and manage prehistoric plants in complex ecosystems shaped by Earth’s ancient climate and terrain.

Traverse a richly crafted Pleistocene world featuring diverse biomes, environmental hazards, and untold secrets.

🍷 Tonics Crafting

Harvest and combine ingredients to create specialized tonics that boost survival, healing, or enhance abilities.

🧍 Human Interaction

Form tentative bonds with early humans—trade, collaborate, or study their ways to thrive in this primitive world.
