Bartender Hustle title screen with neon-lit bar background

Bartender Hustle Now Available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Release Coming Soon

Posted on April 26, 2025November 1, 2025 By Ronny Fiksdahl

April 23, 2025 – Auckland, New Zealand — Indie developer Yard B Games, in partnership with publisher Critical Reflex, has officially launched their stylish bartending sim Bartender Hustle on PlayStation 5. This console release marks a major milestone for the previously PC-only title, as it continues to grow its player base and expand to new platforms.

Pour, shake, serve — and hustle

Bartender Hustle is more than just a drink-serving game. It’s a time management simulation wrapped in sleek pixel art, backed by a surprisingly thoughtful story mode. Players take on the role of an aspiring bartender trying to make a name in a highly competitive world of mixology. You’ll learn and master over 100 drink recipes, compete in challenge modes, and balance speed with precision behind the bar.

Whether you’re juggling cocktail orders in a packed nightclub or serving heartfelt drinks to regulars in a local dive, the game offers a dynamic rhythm of action that blends arcade reflexes with visual storytelling. Every pour, shake, and stir counts.

Xbox Series X|S version is on the way

While PS5 players can now jump into the action, Xbox users will have to wait a bit longer. Critical Reflex has confirmed that the Xbox Series X|S version of Bartender Hustle is still in development, with a release window to be announced in the coming months. It will mark the game’s full console availability once it lands on Microsoft’s platform.

Release Date: April 23, 2025 (PS5)

Platforms: PlayStation 5, PC, Xbox Series (coming soon)

Why It Stands Out

One of the game’s biggest strengths lies in its tone — a sincere narrative that explores burnout, ambition, and rediscovery through the lens of bartending. It’s rare for a sim game to dive into emotional storytelling, but Bartender Hustle nails it with subtle character moments and a visual novel-style progression that flows naturally between gameplay segments.

If you enjoy fast-paced simulations with heart, this is a gem worth mixing into your library.

Final Thoughts

Bartender Hustle is now live on PlayStation 5, with Xbox versions coming soon. Whether you’re a cocktail enthusiast or just love pixel-perfect indies, this one’s worth checking out. Keep it on your radar as it continues to shake things up on the console scene.
