Helldivers 2 Sells 12 Million, Surpassing Sweden’s Population

Stockholm, Sweden – In a surprise moment during Sony’s Q1 2024 earnings call, it was revealed that Helldivers 2 has sold more than 12 million units globally since launch. To put it into perspective, that’s more people than the entire population of Sweden.

Johan Pilestedt Reacts with Gratitude

Johan Pilestedt, CEO of Arrowhead Game Studios and Creative Director of the game, shared the following on Twitter:

“It’s crazy to think that there are more Helldivers than there are Swedes. What a massive achievement from everyone involved in realizing @Helldivers2. A massive thank you to the community for your support, passion, and dedication in the fight for democracy! All love.”
