Astral Flux Now on Nintendo Switch with New Submerged Update

AMSTELVEEN, NOVA SCOTIA – October 31st, 2024 – Indie developer Cosmocat Games and publisher Mindscape have officially released Astral Flux on the Nintendo Switch. This launch comes with a major bonus: the brand-new and completely free “Submerged” update, which is now available on both the Switch and Steam versions.

What is Astral Flux?

Astral Flux is a fast-paced action-platformer that blends the charm of classic pixel art with modern roguelite design. Players explore procedurally generated levels across space-like environments, facing off against enemies, mastering movement, and unlocking upgrades with each attempt. With every run feeling different, it brings high replayability to the genre.

Submerged Update: A New Layer of Exploration

The free Submerged update takes players underwater, introducing an entirely new biome filled with sunken secrets. Navigate oceanic caverns, avoid dangerous sea creatures, and hunt for rare treasure. This content expands the universe of Astral Flux while maintaining the game’s intense gameplay loops and visual style.

Platform Availability

Astral Flux is now officially available on both Nintendo Switch and Steam. A demo version is also available for download, giving new players a chance to experience the game before purchasing.
