What the Director’s Cut adds
If you played the original and never circled back, the Director’s Cut is built around meaningful extras — including a new Ruined Factory location, new traversal and delivery tools, and expanded combat and training options.
- New location: the Ruined Factory (underground compound with fresh threats).
- New delivery assists: cargo catapults, ramps, and a stabiliser for safer weight shifts and landings.
- Expanded combat: more melee moves (including a dropkick) plus the Maser Gun to stun and short-circuit.
- Practice and compete: firing range loadout testing and a racetrack with time-attack challenges.
- Extra mobility: Buddy Bots can help you traverse the wastelands with less friction.
Handheld note for ROG Xbox Ally owners
Xbox’s listing for this drop includes a Handheld label — meaning it’s marked as optimized for handheld play — which should be good news if you’re planning to play on devices like the ROG Xbox Ally line.
