Game Overview
Set against diverse backdrops—from the sunny Dry Crumbs to the frosty trails of Revontuli—#DRIVE Rally offers a colorful driving journey built around recognizable 1990s rally influences. Its collection of fictional rally cars includes vehicles such as Das Holzwagen and The Bobond, each with its own handling and nostalgic character.
Gameplay Mechanics
The game uses classic arcade-style driving mechanics that are easy to pick up but still leave room to improve. Terrain, braking, timing, and learning how each car reacts are what keep the stages interesting.
Correction: #DRIVE Rally does not include online multiplayer or online co-op.
Customization was already a large part of the game in Early Access, with unlockable skins and options that let players give their cars a more personal look.
Personal Gameplay Experience
One of my favorite aspects of #DRIVE Rally was its combination of old-school arcade sensations with a modern visual style. The physics of the cars and the presentation made the races feel immediately readable, while mastering different terrain gave the driving enough depth to keep me engaged.

Community and Updates
At the time of this review, #DRIVE Rally was still in Early Access and had already been changing around player feedback.
Final Thoughts
#DRIVE Rally worked for me because it understood what made older arcade racers fun. It was accessible, colorful, easy to jump into, and still had enough challenge in its tracks and handling to reward learning the roads properly.
For players who like rally games, customization, and a strong retro influence, it was already easy to recommend during Early Access.
