Three Shows Across Gamescom Week
Future Games Show at Gamescom will be the main digital showcase on August 26. It is expected to include world premieres, exclusive trailers, developer presentations and possible new game demos.
FGS Live From Gamescom will follow the main presentation on the same day, shifting the coverage directly to the event floor in Cologne. The program will include more announcements, interviews and reports from the show.
FGS Best of Gamescom will close the coverage on August 30. The new program will feature booth tours, developer conversations and another look at some of the most interesting games and announcements from the week.
An Opportunity for Developers
The official Future Games Show website currently includes a publisher and developer sign-up option for studios interested in submitting their projects for consideration.
Being selected is not guaranteed, but it may be worth considering for independent developers with a strong trailer, playable demo or important announcement planned around Gamescom.
The three-show format could provide more room for smaller projects than a single presentation. A game that does not fit into the main showcase could potentially be better suited to an interview, booth visit or show-floor segment.
Developers can review the available options through the official submission page.
Where to Watch
All three broadcasts will be available digitally through YouTube, Twitch, X, Facebook, TikTok and GamesRadar+.
Exact starting times, hosts and participating games have not yet been confirmed. More information is expected before the broadcasts begin.
Gamescom 2026 takes place in Cologne, Germany, from August 26 to August 30, with Opening Night Live scheduled for August 25.
