We’re Hiring: Community Manager
We’re looking for someone who truly cares about indie games—and all the passionate people behind them. If you live on Discord, enjoy supporting creators, and know how to keep a community active (not just technically online), we’d love to have you join Fix Gaming Channel.
What You’ll Do
- Keep the server active: daily check-ins, pings, updates, replies
- Post when new content goes live (articles, videos, reviews)
- Talk with devs, players, and supporters in a natural way
- Handle light moderation (bots already cover most of it)
- Optional: help with indie shoutouts or scheduling social posts
What We’re Looking For
- Someone with around 1 hour a day to engage and keep things flowing
- Proven experience running or moderating Discord servers (your own or others)
- A track record of showing up and following through—not just good intentions
- Genuine passion for indie games, creators, and community
What You’ll Get
- Visible credit on the site and in future articles or showcases
- Freedom to list the role in your resume or portfolio
- Optional payment if things click and we grow together
We’ve had volunteers in the past who didn’t follow through. That’s why we’re being direct—if you want to do this, show up. We believe community matters. Games matter. People matter. This role isn’t about perfection—it’s about consistency, care, and contribution.
If you don’t know us yet, you can read more about us here.
