Team Survival Returns

Teamwork remains at the center of the sequel. Players will need to coordinate their weapons and class abilities while dealing with waves of Xenomorphs across tight corridors and dangerous combat areas. The move to four-player squads also gives teams another Colonial Marine compared with the original game.

Specialist Class Adds More Flexibility

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 introduces the Specialist, a customizable class that can combine major and minor abilities from other available classes. This gives players more freedom to build a role around the needs of their squad instead of sticking to one fixed setup.

Dedicated Horde Maps

The sequel will also launch with dedicated Horde maps built around surviving increasingly difficult waves of enemies. Squads will need to manage their positions, ammunition, weapons, and abilities as the Xenomorph attacks become more intense.

More Weapons Against the Xenomorphs

Players will have additional ways to fight back, including close-range stun batons and different ammunition options such as pyro and electric rounds. The sequel also introduces more Xenomorph variants, giving squads new threats to deal with during missions.

Launch Details

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 launches on August 25, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is developed by Cold Iron Studios and published by Daybreak Game Company.
